Product Description

Originally part of a Suite entitled "Blues and Ballads for Eight Horns", "Wholly Carbuncle" is the first of the 3 movements. It was first published in 1986 by Trombacor Music. This is a new version, transcribed into Sibelius notation software by Nathan Lee.

"Wholly Carbuncle" is a basic blues tune composed in the style of Hoagy Carmichael. Arranged here for 8 Horns in F, it's a fun play for a horn choir. It can also be used in a "Conference" setting for a massed horn choir. This movement is about 3 minutes long. It can be performed at the high school and anything higher level.
