This is an a cappella SATB arrangement (with divisi SA in one section) of the 18th century Welsh folk love song Bugeilio'r Gwenith Gwyn, also known as Watching the White Wheat or Idle Days in Summertime. It was written by William Hopcyn of Llangynwyd and tells the tale of a young boy - William himself - who falls in love with Ann, but they are unable to marry. The text is in Welsh, with a phonetic translation.
