This SSAA a cappella arrangement of Andy Grammar's hit song was originally commissioned for an American treble voices barbershop quartet to expand their repertoire past the traditional barbershop homophonic style. It features a contemporary a cappella approach to the backgrounds that is still palatable by the avid barbershopper. Also a great piece to showcase your strong treble singers in a high school choral program. The word "sass" can be substituted in measure 69 to make the lyrics appropriate for a high school setting. Parts are labeled in traditional barbershop style (tenor, lead, baritone, bass) but apply to the SSAA vocal ranges using the standard barbershop clefs (bass clef for alto parts). The bass part range is from F3 to F4. Tenor part range is from D4 to F5. www.thomasjwestmusic.com
