Famous song from the Bangles made No 1 in the US and the UK, has had many cover versions. This arrangement focuses on using the chords to best effect, unusually for a pop song it has three key changes and a comprehensive set of chords which cover almost everything you would need for modern popular music. The recorded guitar part repeats the verse at the end of the song, which the score does not, giving room for a solo or using both verses again. Most recordings only repeat the first verse after the middle section. The original Bangles version repeats the middle 8 and then loops round the first verse Close your eyes but you will need two singers to do this effectively, however I put it in the score so you can see how it would work. A good and simple second guitar part is to strum the chords on the 2nd and 4th beat of each bar, works a treat just like Everybody Hurts.
