"Rain" is an a capella quartet piece that follows the structure of a weather phenomenon: rainfall. It calls for singers to emulate the sounds of wind and rain from droplets to downpours. The word "rain" is the only actual word used in the piece, while the rest of the composition includes vocalize lyrics and onomatopoeias. This composition has a jazz influence, with its use of 7th chords and its syncopated rhythms. Duration: approximately 2'50"
