Product Description

Composed during April & May 2020, and completed on the 6th May 2020. In three movements, it is among my most lyrical and relaxed works. I hope it provides a sense of optimism in these strange times. The writing for Flute & Strings is very straightforward. The main theme of the central Intermezzo is taken from a piano piece I composed back in February 1987. I've always like the tune and didn't want it to end up among my forgotten manuscripts. Parts are available upon request.
