Product Description

This is the famous 1st movement of Swedish Baroque Composer Johan Helmich Roman's composition "Drottningholmsmusiken", arranged for string Quartet.

Drottningholmsmusiken was first performed on Aug 18th, 1744 at the Drottningholm Palace, near Stockholm,s Sweden, at the wedding of Crown Prince Adolf Frederick and Princess Louisa Ulrika of Prussia.

The original composition has 33 movements, but this is the 1st, most famous, movement, arranged for String Quartet.

It is often performed for Royal occasions, as well as for weddings (it works beautifully as an option for the Bride's entrance or exit, as it is celebratory in character).

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
