Product Description

A beloved old hymn of the church in the key of D Major, including lyrics. A lovely, Polynesian flavored melody. The composer, James E. Or, was in fact an itinerant missionary/evangelist to Australia and the whole South Pacific region, having visited, during his lifetime, in excess of 150 countries. I read somewhere that this composition is set to a traditional Maori folk tune. Indeed, every time I hear it I envision dancers in grass skirts, or "hula" garb, (cue the Hawaiian steel guitar.)
