Fitting for: Christmas, Epiphany
Scripture: Hebrews 1:12, Psalm 119:105, 2 Corinthians 5:7
Lyrics:In the past, the Father spoke to us
At many times, in many ways,
But He speaks to us through Jesus in these last days.
So, no more signs and wonders.
We're not the ones who see,
But by a miracle we hear
And believe.
Chorus:
I don't have a star in my backyard, leading me on.
I'm not gonna find an angel choir to sing me a song.
And I'll have to wait for heaven for my turn to sing along.
I don't have a star, but I know who You are,
Son of God.
Holy dreams and messengers
Showed a Savior who would come.
Now the pages of the Bible
Open my eyes to what He's done.
I'm jealous of the shepherds
Who saw the Baby's face,
But I know Jesus loves me,
And that's the wonder of His grace.
(Chorus)
I walk by faith, not by sight.
Your Word is my lamp,
My only light.
I don't have a star, but I know who You are,
Son of God.
