Song for Nany is a lovely and beautiful piece for solo guitar written in 3 sections. Part 1 and 2 present a very simple melody with a syncopated and repetitive rhythm but with interesting harmonic changes and a certain Brazilian flavor. Part 3 takes advantage of the use of open strings creating a virtuous effect. You will find reminiscences of Jobim, Luiz Bonfá, Baden Powell or Villa-Lobos but also a little jazz and classical music at the same time.
