Product Description
Leonard Schulz (1813-1860) was an Austrian guitarist and composer. As a child prodigy he toured Europe with his father Andre and his brother Eduard, eventually settling in London around 1832, where he lived until his death in 1860. He composed several guitar pieces, among études, pieces-de-genre, and concert pieces that are starting to emerge.
The Grand Fantasia op.48, published in London around 1840, is a mature and virtuosic work, with an eloquent ouverture and contrasting thematic material.
This edition contains a biography of the composer and editorial notes (in English and Portuguese).
