This arrangement, originally written for piano/organ and flugelhorn, includes score and parts for Bb Trumpet or Flugelhorn, C Trumpet, Flute, Oboe, Violin, Horn in F, Bass Clef Instruments (including Trombone, Euphonium, Bassoon, Cello), Eb Alto Saxophone and Bb Tenor Saxophone. The music begins with the solo instrument playing softly by itself. The accompaniment joins and crescendos to a modulation up a step with gentle rolling embellishment, then slowly fades back down to the intimacy of the solo instrument by itself. A beautiful, contemplative rendering that is of moderate to easy difficulty level.
