Product Description

A modern, melodic original composition, suitable for students and advanced musicians alike.

Composers Note:

Thalassa was the primordial Greek mythic sea goddess. This song was written for a piano student who is an ocean lover and a sailor.

For interested students or teachers, here are a few pedagogical notes:

This piece is simple enough for a beginning-intermediate-level student, but still has some more sophisticated harmonic content that may be appealing to older children, teens, and adults. The places where the right hand crosses over left may be the most challenging aspect for students. The indication let ring is included to encourage the player to leave the note quickly, since they must find their next downbeat.
