This a capella piece was inspired by Michael Kamen's soundtrack to Band of Brothers. It was originally written as a meditation for organ to be played at a remembrance service. The text and the choral setting came later. Although it goes up to 8 parts, the writing is not difficult, but you need good second basses with stamina!
