WARSAW CONCERTO (A New Piano Solo Arrangement)
by Richard Addinsell
Arranged by Robert Van Horne
23 pages
Published by White Piano International Publishing 2020
As a graduate from the Philadelphia Musical Academy in 1971, I included in my repertoire light Classical piano music.
After watching the 1941 movie "DANGEROUS MOONLIGHT" and hearing the majestic and haunting piano and orchestra piece The Warsaw Concerto, I arranged this new advanced piano solo version.
There are 23 easy-to-read pages as well as patterned arpeggios that are different than the original score. The pages are clearly notated with suggested fingerings and sostenuto pedal markings. The damper pedal is not marked, but can be used at the discretion of the performer. Rubato, tempo and dynamic passages are indicated throughout the score.
This is a wonderful arrangement for advanced students, professional pianists, or piano teachers.
