Product Description

Enchanted London is a four movement suite composed for London Clarinetist Alison Eales
and the Gregynog Ensemble.
It was premiered on October 9, 2021 on their first concert since the Coronavirus
Pandemic.
Set in four movements it came to mind when the ensemble premiered English Autumn
in October, 2019. Having visited London several times, I had yet to experience the Changing of the Guard and
rain was forecast for Sunday following the Saturday night concert. The skies were clear and I so enjoyed
the day an though how enchanting London is. The opening Prelude captures the excitement of the city.
Soliloquies is in 3/4 time and heard in the sample recording. Promenade and Finale round out the suite.
