Product Description
This jaunty Irish double-jig should bring a good deal of cheer to performers and audiences alike!
The instrumentation is flexible - all that is strictly needed is one melody instrument and one chording instrument (but the more, the merrier!). The rhythm section parts are largely chord-based to give the performers flexibility in their playing.
All melody parts are in C, but in various ranges. A violin part is included for instruments in the mid-range and should cover instruments such as mandolin. A flute range is included for high-register instruments. Finally, a tin whistle (in D) part is included to compress the melody into the whistle's range.
Please send any comments or requests to michael.roberts@ucl.ac.uk. I am happy to provide transposed parts if desired.
Hope you enjoy the tune!
