This is a fun medley of three well-known Mexican tunes: La Cucaracha, El Jarabe Tapatio (Mexican Hat Dance) and La Bamba. It is arranged for xylophone with piano accompaniment.

The xylophone part includes optional rolls and grace notes for players looking to improve their technique in these areas. Some syncopated rhythms, double sticking, modulations and a lively tempo make this piece an enjoyable challenge.

The piano part is mostly vamp in style and should be manageable for non-piano specialists who wish to accompany their students.

This would be a lively and entertaining piece for a school concert or recital.
