Product Description
Bahar-e Delneshin is a well-known classic Persian song (aka tasnif) by the prominent Iranian composer, musician, and conductor, Ruhollah Khaleqi. Accompanied with the words of Bijan Taraqi, the melody was written in Avaaz-e Bayat-e Isfahan, the subsection of Dastgah-e Homayoun, which has a similar intervalic pattern to the western melodic minor, only that here the sixth degree is raised by approximately a quarter tone (~30 cents). It was premiered in 1951 by one of the most outstanding Iranian vocalists of the 20th century, Gholam-Hossein Banan and soon it became an instant favourite amongst Persian speaking people all around the world.
This version is a wonderful arrangement of the song for solo piano by Hamzeh Yeganeh.
