"Chanson For a Gloomy Afternoon" is a slow (mm-60) melancholy composition written for an intermediate string orchestra. Written in the key of B minor, a somewhat somber mood is achieved. Care must be taken to articulate the eighth note triplets, and the sixteenth notes accurately. However, at the slow tempo indicated they should not pose a problem. I hope you enjoy rehearsing and performing my composition. Thank you!
