"Carpé" is a made-up word for "Carpet". A piano teacher posted a thread on Facebook in November 2013. She mentioned that one of her students parents spilled coffee on her white carpet while she was giving piano lessons. I thought this might be a good subject to write about because I spill coffee all the time. One time, I spilled a pot of chicken soup in my car. A friend of mine spilled a crock pot of chili in her car transporting it to a graduation party.
