This arrangement is not intrinsically difficult, but requires certain technical achievements for a convincing performance:
- the co-ordination of cross-rhythms between the two players (triplets for Primo against quavers for Secondo)
- the ability to play in octaves with one hand.
- a small section of hand crossing between players
- reading notes with significant ledger lines, and playing with the 8va line.
