"The Parting Glass" is the arrangement for solo violin that I perform in concert.  It is arranged for the intermediate to advanced player and brings the vocal line to life. It is a deeply moving piece and perfect for an Irish celebration such as St. Patrick's Day or at the end of an evening!   Leave the bow on the string and let the phrasing breathe - it is the ideal piece if you want to channel the beautiful Irish sounds and renditions of The Pogues, Sinead O'Connor or Glen Hansard.

The piece has been arranged for solo violin and for the full resonance of the violin in a concert setting. It is to be played by advanced and aspiring concert level musicians.
