Arranged for Flute Duet and Piano

This piece is traditionally played as a virtuoso solo, however this arrangement shares the melody between a flute and violin. The parts pass the solo between them and harmonize the two with each other, providing a balanced performance where both instrumentalists have a chance to demonstrate their strengths, and support each other.

The addition of a second "soloist" allows the performers to be more creative with their showmanship, and even add comedic elements to their concert with banter between the performers.

Score and Parts Included

In addition to the full score, this arrangement includes an additional condensed piano part that combines the duet parts on one staff. This helps to reduce the number of page turns for the pianist.

Separate flute and violin parts are also included.
