Matthew Lammin
Matt Lammin is an accomplished arranger and musical director based in Merseyside in the UK. He arranges on a weekly basis for Soul City Voices, who perform every Sunday at Albert's Schloss in Liverpool; he has arranged choral work for BBC Worldwide showcases and Hollyoaks with Sense of Sound Singers and he creates bespoke pieces for Over The Water choirs, who he established with his sister, Amy Chalmers.

Matt also writes commissioned pieces for choirs, the most notable of which took him over to Pennsylvania in 2014 to work with a choir over there. Many of his vocal arrangements are published. 

Matt studied Music and Popular Music at the University of Liverpool and then went on to do a Masters degree in Music Performance (Pop Vocals & Piano) at The University of Salford. He is a part-time music classroom teacher and singing teacher at Birkenhead High School Academy. 

Matt is an experienced performer, working regularly over the years as a singer and piano/vocalist as well as directing professional vocal groups. ‘Sense of Sound Singers’ is the group that he has worked with the most and he has enjoyed many highlights during his time with them: appearing on Gareth Malone's BBC television series 'Boys Don't Sing', supporting Russell Watson on his 2009 19-date tour, performing on the live BBC television shows, ‘Last Choir Standing’ and ‘Pitch Battle’, backing Seal and Bon Jovi at the Royal Variety Show, performing with an array of critically acclaimed European artists at various events in Europe and taking on live musical direction at BBC Worldwide showcase events for shows such as Wolf Hall, Doctor Who and Planet Earth and performing at annual sell-out ‘Cream Classical’ events with a live orchestra.

In 2018, Matt sang backing vocals for Josh Groban at his UK arena dates and then went on to reprise this role at BST 2019, supporting Celine Dion in Hyde Park.
