Virginia Firnberg

As a composer Virginia has written and arranged for choirs; orchestras and instrumental ensembles of all types.
Her music has been performed by the contemporary classical ensemble Lontano, as well as by John Dankworth and the vocal ensemble ‘Voice’ among other performers.

Her choir arrangements have graced the stage of The Stables’ in Wavendon alongside Jazz luminaries: Ian Shaw, Jacquie Dankworth and Cleo Laine as well as at The Wellcome Foundation as part of ‘The Elements event’.

In addition she has played piano for the King, accompanying 'The Little Choir of Joy' and was featured, playing piano on BBC  World Service documentary 'Defeated'.
