John Hondorp is jazz musicus uit Nederland die zijn passie voor close harmony zingen startte in de vroege 80er jaren. Hij heeft in vele verschillende (jazz) ensembles gezongen en arrangeerde vocal jazz voor ensembles in Nederland, coachte de zangers van het Landesjugendjazzorchester Hessen (Duitsland) en publiceerde verschillende arrangementen bij Arco Music (NL).
Momenteel is hij dirigent van het Jazz&Popkoor ArtEZ conservatorium Zwolle en coacht het Vocal Jazz Ensemble van de Jazz&Pop-afdeling in Zwolle.
In de afgelopen 30 jaar schreef hij meer dan 200 arrangementen voor koren, ensembles en workshops in de BeNeLux en Duitsland.

John Hondorp is a jazz musician from the Netherlands who started his passion of close harmony (jazz) singing in the early 80s.
He has been singing in and arranging for vocal jazz ensembles throughout the Netherlands, coaches vocal jazz ensembles @ ARtEZ University of the ARts in Zwolle and Enschede (NL), was coach of the vocalists of the Landesjugendjazzorchester Hessen (Germany) and published several arrangements with Arco Music in the Netherlands.
Momentarily he is conductor of the Jazz&Pop Choir of Artez University of the Arts in Zwolle and coach of their Vocal Jazz Ensemble.
Over the last 30 years he has written over 200 arrangements for choirs, ensembles and workshops throughout the BeNeLux and Germany.
