Emily Gray

Emily Gray is a performer, composer, and music arranger based in Montreal, Canada. She has a degree in music from McGill University. In university, she played various clarinets and took courses in music arranging.

Emily has over 20 years of experience in arranging music of many genres. Her arrangements for concert band, piano/voice/chords, solo instruments, chamber ensembles, and other groups, have been played around the world.

As a composer, Emily writes music in a generally accessible, often modal style.

As a performer, Emily plays clarinets, tin whistle, ukulele, and percussion, specializing in alto clarinet. She has played in various ensembles, including orchestras, wind bands, and chamber groups.

In addition to her musical activities, Emily also works in visual art.
