Robert Newth

Robert graduated in 2018 with a MMus from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and has since enjoyed a busy freelance career performing with orchestras such as the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, and Scottish Ballet. He is the horn player for chamber groups Brass Tracks and Prismatic Winds and has spent a lot of time in the studio recording, including as guest performer for the Mogwai album Atomic. As a keyboard player and MD, Robert has credits in London's West End, UK tours, Edinburgh Fringe as well as many youth theatre, choir and community projects UK wide. He also works as an organist, sound designer/artist, videographer and is an award-winning screen composer. His arrangements and compositions have been performed in over 50 countries and his music has been broadcast on Sky 1 and before film screenings as Vue Cinemas.
