James Michael Stevens is a prolific composer and arranger residing in Nashville, Tennessee, the Dean of the School of Music at Welch College in Gallatin, TN, and is a voting member of The GRAMMYs.  Dr. Stevens currently has more than 7,000 music publications at Sheet Music Plus as well as additional publications with many world wide main stream publishers. Stevens music can be heard on streaming platforms worldwide including on: Pandora Radio, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube and others. Stevens music has also been heard on many other different venues such as on cable and network TV such as CBS's "The Young and the Restless," KLM Air France, XM-Streaming Radio, Business Overhead Radio, Games and Apps, and TikTok. Stevens' organ works are performed around the world where Carson Cooman, Composer in Residence at Harvard University, Memorial Church has recorded more than 240 of his works. Stevens is also a Whisperings Piano Solo Artist. He has won awards with ASCAP, One World Music Radio, and numerous awards with Sheet Music Plus including the 2015 Steinway Piano Music Award. His works have been purchased and performed in over 100 countries.

We Have Nothing," continues to be an international sensation with more than 300 different commercial CDs containing it being recorded in Korea, China, Japan, the U.S., Europe and more than 2,000 performances of Without Love (내가 천사의 말 한다 해도) on YouTube and over a million listings on Google. It has now been arranged and performed in almost every genre available.

Stevens was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and grew up in Alabama. He has a Doctorate of Music Composition from the University of Kentucky, and Master of Church Music in Piano and Composition from the The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's in General Music and Humantities from Samford University. He is happily married to Babra Stevens.
