Dan Boone (ASCAP)

Dan specializes in writing and arranging sacred works for brass ensembles and for church choirs. He has many years of experience as a trombonist and as a church choral director and public school band director, and he's been writing and arranging music since the late 1960s. He has studied or consulted privately with a number of esteemed composers, including Robert Jager, Albert Gower, Gilbert Martin, David Moser McKay, Brad Nix, Robert Sterling, Lloyd Larson, and Joseph M. Martin. He currently has works published with Editions BIM, Matonizz & Fennell Production, DiscoverWorship.com, Lorenz Music, and Shawnee Press, in addition to those self-published through ArrangeMe. Dan holds a BS in Music Education from Tennessee Tech University and an MM in Music Theory from the University of Southern Mississippi. He currently sings in the Chancel Choir and plays in the Orchestra at Asbury Church in Madison, Alabama.
