James M. Guthrie is a composer, arranger, organist, and cellist. He studied composition with Dinos Constantinides and earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at LSU. He earned the Professional Studio Production Certificate from the Berklee College of Music. After teaching music theory, composition, and other music courses at various universities for 30 years, he retired and created an online digital music publishing company known as Jmsgu3 Publications.
