Mark Hillegass Jr.

Mark Hillegass Jr. attended the College of Wooster (Wooster, OH) on a performance scholarship, earning a bachelor's degree in Music Education with an emphasis on Saxophone Performance. Mr. Hillegass has been teaching for 14 years in Texas public and charter schools. Over the course of 14 years, he has taught grades PreK-12; Band, Choir, Orchestra, General Music, Music History, Music Theory, Mariachi, and Theatre. Additionally, he is a published composer, arranger, and blogger with Alfred Reed Publishing, ArrangeMe, and the Youth Orchestra Commissioning Initiative.
