Jami Kidwell Chavez

Welcome to my crazy corner of all things Flute Choir and Flute Orchestra. 

I have played flute for over 25 years (off and on) and currently have the honor of playing in a flute choir with a full range of flutes (from Sub Contra to Piccolo.)  Because of this, I specialize in writing arrangements and original music for flute choir.

I love writing with a sense of whimsy.  Music should be fun!   I am obsessed with low flutes, so most of my arrangements will have at least a small feature for them. 

Outside of flutes, I am a cat-mom, avid cross stitcher and accountant by day.
