Having specialized in Music Education while doing my Bachelor of Education at University of New Brunswick in Canada, I have a huge passion for teaching music.  Following a career in the public education system, I moved to teaching private music lessons in my private studio, specializing in Piano.  I have taught privately for over 20 years now. 

When teaching, I teach to the learning style, needs and musical interests of each individual student, which led me to begin composing and arranging music that met the needs of the students interested in the different songs as well as to introduce my beginner students to the piano in an engaging way.  I specialize in music for beginners (5 finger piano), Big Note Piano and Easy Piano, although I do have a few Intermediate Arrangements.  I also have a few songs for flute, clarinet, violin and other treble instruments, and hope to eventually add more in this genre soon as I continue to expand my piano repertoire.  

I have a wide variety of genres to choose from: folk, rock, children's songs, classical (Fur Elise is a favourite!), sacred, worship, pop, Halloween, Christmas etc. I add new songs periodically, so be sure to keep checking for updates to my repertoire.  Have fun browsing and playing my songs :)
