Tim McMillen

Tim McMillen served as an arranger and trombonist in the United States Air Force band program where his music was featured on numerous Air Force Band recordings and performed throughout the world. He has written over 400 arrangements and original compositions for orchestra, concert, jazz, and marching bands.

Tim is also an active performer and is the lead trombonist with Kris Berg’s Metroplexity Big Band in Dallas, TX. Locally, he performs with the Bayou Jazz Kings Dixieland Band, the Lake Charles Jazz Band, and as principal trombonist with the Lake Charles Symphony Orchestra, as well as solo trombonist and associate conductor of the Calcasieu British Brass Band.
