Nancy Shafer Rohar was born in Oakes, ND.  She plays the flute and her husband plays the French horn.  She lives in Washington state with her husband and their two dogs, Pax and Shadow. Nancy has been making music her whole life. Her mother said Nancy started whistling when she learned to crawl. She studied piano and flute as a child and has a BS in music. Pax and Shadow sing along when Nancy and her husband play.
