LIZZIE HOLYOAK 

Born into a household filled with song, I grew up steeped in music’s many voices. Trained at Colchester Institute, my passions range from medieval to contemporary, with early inspiration from Peter Maxwell Davies, Harrison Birtwistle, and even Soft Machine. As a singer-songwriter, I’ve penned hundreds of songs, later channelling my skills into teaching and helping others find their voice. Now, with the trio Dust, I revel in an eclectic mix—from rediscovered manuscript fragments to fresh compositions shaped by the rich tones of clarinets, saxophones, flutes, and keyboards.
