Julia Hannelore Rosenberger, Graduate Musician, State- certified Music Teacher, Qualified Music Therapist

At an early age I learned to play various instruments as my parents ran a music store. Beginning with the harp at age 12, I received a seat as a guest student (age 14) at the University of Music in Wuerzburg, Germany.
Following this I studied music majoring harp with Prof. Gisèle Herbet and graduating with honors at the age of 21.
I gained orchestral experience in some German orchestras and in 1988 was 1st harpist of the Filarmonica Del Bajio in Guanajuato, Mexico.
Artistically playing as a solist and in various formations, I preferably play with Ralph Stoevesandt, billed as Duo Sandrose (harp & musical saw).
Giving harp lessons to children and adults for years, I additonally work as music therapist and composer. My compositions are atmospheric images, dealing with feelings in natural experiances & interpersonal relationships. These compositions are written for lever and pedal harp, solo pieces and chamber music.
