Japan Duo Notes

Kan Saito is a flutist and composer/arranger who has created over 1,000 works. He is also the representative of the publishing company "Japan Duo Notes." Among his notable publications are 25 Flute Duet Masterpieces, Disney Song Duet Collection, and Ghibli Melody Collection.

After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, Saito received the Special Prize at the 4th Japan Classical Music Competition and the Encouragement Prize at the 51st Tokyo Round of the Japan Student Music Competition. From 2011 to 2014, he attended master classes at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, studying under P.L. Graf. Additionally, he studied chamber music under Christian Ivaldi at the Kyoto France Academy and in Paris.

In addition to his solo performances, Saito is active in orchestras and big bands and works as a studio musician, recording music for commercials, TV dramas, and films.
