Ash has a background in both theatre and music, and they are an active composer, choral arranger, songwriter, playwright, sound designer, and music director for choir and theatre.

Ash is the former artistic director to Transpose PDX, a non-profit choral arts organization serving the trans, non-binary, and GNC community, and her choral works and arrangements have been performed by various choirs across the country, most popular with GALA Choruses like Portland Gay Men’s Chorus, Bridging Voices, Transpose PDX, ANNA Crusis Feminist Choir, NYCGMC, and more.

They grew up in Portland, OR and currently reside in NYC.
