Kenneth Wayne Land

Kenneth "Wayne" Land holds the Bachelor of Music Education degree from Troy University plus graduate studies including arranging techniques with the legendary Paul Yoder.  Since 2011 he has performed regularly with the "Three Rivers Saxtette" based in Tri-Cities, WA thus gaining invaluable experience with the Saxophone Quartet genre.  Consistent with his strong conviction that the Saxophone Quartet ensemble is one of the most versatile of any, his arranging efforts cover all genres including jazz, big band, gospel, patriotic, rock, standards, oldies, holidays, country and more.  The vast majority of his arrangements include Bass Guitar and Drum Set parts, most of which are optional.   "Three Rivers Saxtette" YouTube page offers live video performances of some of his arrangments and his website at "www.musicplay.com" features full length recordings of all his charts.  Optionally, click the YouTube link below to hear full length recordings.
