Born at Sep.24th 1975 in Bruck an der Mur / Austria
Private Piano Lessons from the age of 7
Piano Lessons at MusicSchool Innsbruck. 
Concert Piano at Federal Conservatory Tyrol (1994-1995) with Bozidar Noev.
Diploma in Jazz Piano am Bruckner – Conservatory Linz with Dejan Pecenko. (1995 - 1999)
Studies at Newschool N.Y. (supported by Ministery of Education) with Sonny Bravo (Tito Puente Orchestra)
Several stays in Cuba for studies between 2000 und 2004
2009 – 2010 Start Master - Programme at „Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst“ in Vienna
Robert Sölkner was nominated three times for the Jazz Price of the City of Innsbruck
