Ryan Putt has been an active arranger and composer since 2001. Originally crafting custom arrangements for the brass ensembles at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA, he began writing for a variety of concert and contemporary ensembles while serving in the US Navy fleet band program until 2017. Following his time on active duty, Mr. Putt has become a band director in Fort Worth, TX. Working at the high school and middle school levels, he has expanded his creative output and began publishing arrangements through ArrangeMe in 2022. He is also the owner of Brasswood Publishing, LLC. Through Brasswood, Ryan self-publishes original works for large ensembles. 

Beyond his undergraduate and graduate degrees, Mr. Putt has studied arranging and film scoring through Berklee Online, the distance learning extension of Berklee College of Music.
