D. Jason Bishop is Director of Choral Activities at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He is the former Artistic Director of the world-renowned, Grammy award-winning Texas Boys Choir, and previously served as Director of Choral Activities at St. Lawrence University, Director of Music and Worship at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas; Director of Choral and Vocal Studies and Chair of the Music Department at Drew University; Founder and Artistic Director of the Young People's Chorus of Erie; and Music Director of the Erie Philharmonic Chorus. Dr. Bishop is an active guest conductor and clinician and has served the American Choral Directors Association in several roles, including as National Repertoire and Resources Chair for Student Activities. His compositions, orchestrations, and arrangements are published by Hal Leonard, Colla Voce, and NoteNova, and self-published by Tully Road Music.
