Product Description

This is the last of six Duettos Opus 2 which were published in 1759. In order to increase sales Quantz described them as for flutes or violins and in his introduction (in fluent French) also indicated their suitability for bassoons - who in that period would be accustomed to transposing at sight.

The three movements, Grave - Allabreve, ma presto, Cantabile & Più tosto Vivace are suitable for advanced intermediate players of equal ability. The final movement is a canon throughout.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
