Here is Dave Brubecks iconic piece Take Five.  It features the Bari on lead or Tenor if desired. Additional parts are included to allow for substitutions and/or different instrumentation needs. Some Performance/Instrumentation options include:

·         Quartet with rhythm section: Soprano, Alto 1, Tenor 1 and Bari 1 (Lead)
·         Quartet with rhythm section: Soprano, Alto 1, Tenor 2 (Lead) and Bari 2
·         Quintet without rhythm section (Bari Lead): Soprano, Alto 1, Tenor 1, Bari 1 and Bari 3 (Bass)
·         Quintet without rhythm section (Tenor Lead): Soprano, Alto 1, Tenor 2, Bari 2 and Bari 3

The Alto 2 can be used as an option to substitute for Soprano as well - it doubles the Soprano part.
