"A Thousand Years" is a song recorded by American singer and songwriter Christina Perri, and written by Perri and David Hodges, for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, and it goes about the love affair between Edward and Bella in the novel and subsequent film series Twilight. Arrangement for solo carillon, originally written for the Grand Carillon of the National Palace of Mafra (Portugal) with the range of 52 bells. Although it has alternative notation, making it possible to play it on any carillon of at least 4 octaves, the extension of this arrangement is as follows: G2,A2,Bb2,B...chromatic...C7, with alternative notation for unavailable pedal keys below D3 and above G4.
