This arrangement gives a stirring, familiar hymn a fresh setting that is still easy for a choir to learn. Voicing is in standard congregational range (soprano tops out at E-flat, and bass goes down to F). After an accompanied verse in unison, the choir sings the second verse a cappella and introduces some new harmonies. At the end of the second verse, the piano re-enters, modulates from A-flat to B-flat, and the third verse begins in majestic unison. A brief minor passage transitions back to a build that carries all the way through the end.
