From The Top is a beginner two mallet study for mallet percussion (xylophone, marimba, vibraphone or orchestra bells). The piece is designed as a supplemental short solo that allows students to work on their mallet percussion skills in addition to their regular lesson books. This piece is in the key of F and uses notes between middle C and F at the top of the treble clef staff. This piece uses eighth notes, quarter notes, half notes and whole notes.
